Steinberger moved a frontend to Solid 2 in ~600 PRs
Peter Steinberger says an agent loop moved OpenClaw's frontend off Lit in about six days and spent another week making it idiomatic Solid, at a cost of roughly 600 pull requests and a few missed button shapes.

Steinberger moved OpenClaw off Lit to Solid 2 in about 600 PRs
Peter Steinberger says a two week agent loop moved OpenClaw's Lit web frontend to Solid 2.0, with Lit removed after about six days and another week spent making the patterns idiomatic. He checked in every other day, reports smaller JS and CSS and finer-grained updates, and found a few tiny regressions the agent missed, mostly button shapes.
I found that the workflow of prompting Astra to run codex cli in worktrees works FAR better than relying on subagents.
How they actually work
dax sends phone screenshots straight into an agent session
dax says he now takes a screenshot on his phone and sends it straight to an opencode session, in one case a screenshot of X DMs about scheduling a call with the instruction "schedule this". Peter Steinberger replied "welcome to 2025", which is to say the pattern is not new to everyone.

Theo calls Astra the most disappointing release of the year
Theo says in retrospect Astra may have been the most disappointing release of the year. He gives no test or codebase behind the verdict. Peter Steinberger, in the same window, used Astra as the planner for his Solid 2 migration while Sol 6.1 did the coding.
